MD Cakes is a small cake operation that specializes in party cakes. This business is operated by my mother and I, with me performing majority of the customer service, design and social media outreach.

Customer Service
- We communicate with clients through the entire process of the cake order; from initial cake concept to post pickup/delivery.
- We focus on giving our customers an overall experience that keeps them coming back birthday after birthday.
Design
- Each cake is custom designed per the client’s request.
- They are given three design options at different price points to fit below, within and slightly above their target budget.
Social Media
- MD Cakes is currently on Facebook and Instagram.
- Facebook is our main avenue for engagement with our clients.
- During cake making weekends, we like to post teasers of cake designs and ask our clients what they think we’re making by showing them unfinished snippets of the cake.
